Celtic Introduction Music
Draw Your Own Celtic Designs by David James, 80 step-by-step projects teach readers how to draw their own gorgeous Celtic patterns. Starting with an illustrated introduction to the Celts and the development of Celtic design, authors David James and Vitor Gonzalez place the book's designs into their historical context. Subsequent chapters, in turn, examine each of the main Celtic patterns including knots, spirals, key patterns, animals and beasts, and Celtic lettering. Each chapter opens with a large color illustration to inspire readers with ways of incorporating the design into their own work. The illustrations are followed by a short introduction to the range of patterns that fall into their particular design category, along with photos of Celtic artifacts. The remainder of each chapter consists of 16 design pages, each containing a specially commissioned step-by-step work of art for readers to follow. Beautiful to look at and exquisitely executed, each piece of art has been carefully constructed so that readers can follow its creation from start to finish with little chance for mistakes.

Celtic music - Celtic music is a broad grouping of musical genres that evolved out of the folk musical traditions of the Celtic peoples of Western Europe. The term Celtic music may refer to both orally-transmitted traditional music and recorded popular music with only a superficial resemblance to folk styles of the Celtic peoples. Celtic music in Canada - Celtic music is primarily associated with the folk traditions of Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as well as the popular styles derived from folk culture. In addition, a number of other areas of the world are known for the use of Celtic styles and techniques, including much of the folk music of Canada's Maritimes, especially on Cape Breton Island and Newfoundland. Celtic music in the United States - Irish and Scottish music have long been a major part of American music, at least as far back as the 19th century. Beginning in the 1960s, performers like the Clancy Brothers become stars in the Irish music scene, which dates back to at least the colonial era, when numerous Irish immigrants arrived. Introduction (music) - In music, the introduction is a passage or section which opens a movement or a separate piece. In popular music this is often called an intro.
